BIG news for SBI users: Do not PICK up calls from this number

New Delhi, Jan 17: These days State Bank of India is sending messages to its customers . In the messages, SBI is alerting its users about calls coming from a particular number. Your crucial information related to your bank account is being sought from this particular phone number.

The SBI msg informs you further that if you get call from any number which begins from 1800/1860, then you need to get ALERT immediately.

According to the bank, the bank account holders are being asked to redeem reward points customers when they get a call from this suspicious number. The caller from this number is claiming that bank account holders will get a get if they get their points redeemed.

SBI has alerted its users to remain cautious from any such number and do NEVER share any details if they receive calls from this number. If you share your details to the callers of this suspicious number, then you may suffer BIG losses.

The bank has has asked its customers to not share any information, including any mistake, such as your OTP, gift voucher, card number, expiry date on any such call.

Most of the toll free numbers begin from 1800/1860. In such a situation, custimors end up taking calls without thinking much and share their crucual information.
